UnionDerm is located in a state-of-the-art 9,000 square foot full-floor facility, in a landmark building in the heart of Union Square. Our facility was designed by the internationally acclaimed architectural firm Studio a+i in a stylish, loft-like space with treetop views of Union Square Park. The facility offers well-appointed treatment rooms equipped with more than 25 state-of-the-art lasers and

energy devices, a private internal lounge for surgery patients, Italian furniture in a partnership with Cassina/Cappellini, and Wi-Fi accessibility throughout the patient areas. In addition to the latest lasers and treatment technologies, we employ state-of-the-art information technology for medical records, patient scheduling and prescription management.

As my ASDS fellowship year comes to an end, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be staying on at UnionDerm as an attending physician.

To the patients who trusted me with their care this year — thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Being part of your journey has been such a privilege, and I’m so looking forward to continuing to care for both new and existing patients across our Greenwich, Central Park, and Union Square offices.

I’m deeply grateful to Dr. Chapas and the physicians who poured into me and invested in my growth this year. This chapter has meant more than I can put into words — and I cannot wait for what’s next!

One of the best parts of having a fellowship program is getting to work closely with talented young physicians at such an important stage in their careers. From the beginning, it was clear that Dr. Humphrey was someone special.

From lawn pong and corn hole to cocktails, snacks, and nonstop commentary, Lawn Club was the perfect excuse for some team building outside the office. Exciting yet bittersweet news to share! 🎉
After an incredible journey at , from fellow to attending physician and getting to help launch our Greenwich office, I’m excited to announce that I will be pursuing a yearlong Mohs Micrographic Surgery fellowship with Dr. Naomi Lawrence at Cooper University Hospital in New Jersey. I am thrilled at the opportunity to grow and broaden my surgical skillset.

UnionDerm truly shaped the physician I am today. I am so grateful for the mentorship of our medical director Dr. Chapas and attending physicians, the team that became family, and the experiences that made this next step possible.

Rosacea Awareness Month reminder: redness is treatable.

Rosacea can be frustrating, especially when redness feels constant or unpredictable. Many patients assume it’s something they just have to manage or cover.

In reality, we have effective treatment options. I often use Excel V to target the visible blood vessels contributing to redness and flushing.
