I've been playing Gongs for different audiences and in different settings since 2014 when I lived in Brazil at the time. Each Gong I had was special in some way, even the smallest one - 22" Atlantis. I was fascinated by the effect the sound of the Gong had on the people I played for as much as they were. In private sessions, group classes and workshops that I taught, I witnessed the small (sometimes big) transformations take place in people once they let the sound of the Gong do its magic. It seemed like everyone received what they needed in that moment, even if it was not obvious right away. For some it was a way to take a break from anxiety, or from the pain of losing someone they loved, dealing with fear and depression, or just getting a well-deserved rest. If you feel a little curious about the Gong, it's probably because you have something to receive from it too.
