One question I hear often is: What’s the difference between compounded medications and commercially manufactured medications?
The answer is personalization.
When appropriate, compounded medications may allow for more individualized dosing and treatment adjustments based on a patient’s unique needs. In some cases, formulations can be tailored to improve the overall treatment experience.
No matter which option is used, my focus is always the same: creating a plan that fits the individual patient, monitoring progress carefully, and making adjustments when needed.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to health, and treatment should reflect that.
