One question I hear often is: What’s the difference between compounded medications and commercially manufactured medications?

The answer is personalization.

When appropriate, compounded medications may allow for more individualized dosing and treatment adjustments based on a patient’s unique needs. In some cases, formulations can be tailored to improve the overall treatment experience.

No matter which option is used, my focus is always the same: creating a plan that fits the individual patient, monitoring progress carefully, and making adjustments when needed.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to health, and treatment should reflect that.

I’m honored to have been recognized as one of the top perimenopause physicians in New York City.

Most women are told that perimenopause is simply something they have to "get through," but I believe this stage of life deserves much more attention. The hormonal changes that occur during perimenopause can affect far more than day-to-day symptoms. They can influence body composition, bone health, skin quality, energy levels, and overall well-being.

That’s why I take a comprehensive approach focused on understanding what’s changing beneath the surface and creating an individualized plan for each patient.

Thank you to all of my patients for trusting me with your care. It is a privilege to be part of your health journey.

I think one of the biggest misconceptions about menopause is that it’s simply a phase to endure.

In reality, menopause is a major biological transition that can affect many aspects of health, including body composition, energy levels, muscle mass, bone health, and overall quality of life.

That’s why I encourage women to pay attention to changes they’re experiencing and to have conversations with healthcare providers who understand this stage of life.

The goal is not simply managing symptoms. It’s supporting long-term health, function, and well-being as we age.

Menopause may be a natural transition, but that doesn’t mean you should ignore how you feel.

I recently read Melinda Gates's essay about her experience navigating menopause, and I was encouraged to see more attention being brought to this important stage of life.

Many women experience significant physical and emotional changes during perimenopause and menopause, yet these conversations have historically been underrepresented in healthcare.

In this video, I discuss why hormones affect far more than reproductive health. They play a role in energy levels, sleep quality, bone health, body composition, cognitive function, and overall well-being.

As awareness grows, I'm hopeful we'll continue to see more research, education, and informed conversations around menopause and healthy aging.

The more we understand these changes, the better equipped women can be to advocate for their health and explore appropriate treatment options with their healthcare providers.

PCOS has long been associated with ovarian cysts, but that doesn't tell the whole story.

In this video, I discuss the recent shift toward the term Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS) and why many experts believe it better reflects what's really happening in the body.

Early evaluation and treatment can be important for supporting long-term metabolic and reproductive health.

If you're struggling with unexplained weight gain, irregular periods, or other hormonal concerns, it's worth having a conversation with a healthcare provider.

I was honored to be featured in The Purist discussing a topic I'm deeply passionate about: helping people feel stronger, healthier, and more vibrant as they age.

In this interview, I share my perspective on hormones, medical weight loss, longevity, peptides, and why so many of the changes we associate with aging often begin beneath the surface long before we see them in the mirror.

My work has always been rooted in a simple belief: when we support the body from the inside out, everything improves—from energy and body composition to cognitive function, recovery, and overall quality of life.

That same philosophy is what inspired me to create . After years of treating patients and seeing firsthand how hormonal changes impact the skin, I wanted to develop solutions that support the visible signs of aging while addressing the bigger picture of healthy aging and longevity.

Swipe through to read the full interview and the questions we covered.

Because longevity isn't about looking younger—it's about maintaining strength, vitality, and confidence at every stage of life.

One of the most interesting conversations happening right now is how GLP-1 medications may affect more than just weight.

In this interview, we discuss why researchers are taking a closer look at how these medications may interact with receptors throughout the body, including the brain. While there's still much to learn, it's an exciting area of research that continues to evolve.

What I emphasize every day in my practice is that medication is only one piece of the puzzle. Proper hydration, adequate protein intake, preserving muscle mass, and careful monitoring are all essential parts of a successful treatment plan.

My goal is never just weight loss. It's helping patients improve body composition, metabolic health, and long-term wellness.

Watch the full clip and let me know your thoughts.

Newer weight loss medications are generating a lot of excitement, but they also require careful monitoring.

In this interview, I discuss why medical supervision is so important when using GLP-1 medications and other emerging treatments.

One of the biggest mistakes I see is focusing only on the number on the scale. In my practice, I'm much more interested in *what* a patient is losing. Are they losing body fat? Are they maintaining muscle mass? Are they staying properly hydrated?

That's why I use body composition analysis throughout treatment. Weight loss is one thing. Fat loss while preserving muscle and overall health is the real goal.

The right medication is only one piece of the puzzle. Proper evaluation, ongoing monitoring, and personalized care are what help patients achieve sustainable results.

GLP-1s may be changing bodies, but they're also revealing a conversation that's been overlooked for far too long: what happens to your skin afterward?

After years of hearing the same concerns from patients navigating weight loss, perimenopause, menopause, and other major life changes, I started and developed Sculptisse™ Body Contour Cream.

A clinically driven formula designed to visibly firm, smooth, and restore skin prone to crepiness, laxity, and loss of elasticity.

Because feeling your best and looking your best should go hand in hand.

I’m getting so many questions lately about peptides, especially with several potentially becoming more widely available later this year.

The most important thing I tell patients is this: peptides are not one-size-fits-all.

In my practice, I don’t just hand someone a peptide because they saw it online or heard about it on social media. I want to understand *why* you’re having symptoms in the first place. Is it inflammation? Hormonal changes? Recovery issues? Sleep disruption? Metabolic dysfunction?

That’s why I take a full medical approach with blood work, body composition analysis, metabolic testing, and a detailed consultation before recommending any protocol.

Some peptides being discussed right now may support:
• Recovery and joint health
• Sleep and energy
• Cognitive function and focus
• Body composition and metabolic health
• Healthy aging and longevity
