Eight years. ✨
Eight years of showing up. Eight years of healing, community, love, and kindness. What began with a simple but powerful belief — that every person deserves access to quality mental health care with warmth, dignity, and deep cultural understanding — has grown into something so much bigger than we could have imagined.
Over the years, Love & Kindness has had the honor of serving thousands of clients, creating hundreds of community-centered events, and holding spaces like Healing Circles, Black Women Speak, Black Men Speak, Breaking Binaries, the Black Men Speak Health Summit, Indigenous Tools for Living Complex Trauma Training, LK Day, and so much more.
In 2021, that mission expanded through the Love & Kindness Foundation, created to provide free therapy sessions and free wellness events to those who need them most — because healing should never be a privilege. Wellness is not a luxury. It is a birthright. 💛
To our clients, thank you for trusting us with the most tender parts of your stories. To our clinicians and staff, thank you for making this mission real every single day.To our partners, thank you for building alongside us.And to our community — thank you for believing in this work, showing up, and reminding us why Love & Kindness exists.
Brooklyn is home. Community is care. Healing begins here.
As we step into year nine, our promise remains the same: to continue showing up with love, with rigor, and with kindness for every person who walks through our door.
Thank you for eight extraordinary years. We are just getting started. 🌿💛✨
