Millions of Americans like myself were forced to pay % of hard earned money into Social Security for 40-50 years of our working lives with the promise of benefits when we retire.
We paid when that was extra money we needed. We need the US Government to keep that promise, and not break it because any political party wants the money for their budget or debt ceiling.
