September is PMOS Awareness Month. Formerly known as PCOS, PMOS is a new name for a condition that can affect hormonal, metabolic, and reproductive health.

Awareness also means asking who gets answers. In one Boston study, Black women who met the criteria for PMOS had 69% higher odds of a missed diagnosis than their counterparts.

That gap is one reason conversations about BIPOC women’s health matter. Join us on September 30 for Diversity & Fertility: A Women’s Health Summit, where we’ll talk about health equity and what more informed, inclusive care can look like.
