Losing a parent so suddenly is unfathomable and that is exactly what this family went through last week. One day Mary Louise was working, and taking care of her four kids, and the next day she is gone... all to a senseless car accident that could have been avoided.

Her story is complex, but her love for her kids is deep rooted. Working third shift for 14 years in a medical sleep care center , she provided the bulk of the income to the household. She was the family ringleader, organizer, party thrower, homework helper, travel guide, best friend, family counselor, in other words, THE MOM!

It doesn't seem fair. And now the kids do not have their mother…She is gone, and they have little to no financial support to keep things going.

If you feel drawn to give even $5 to help this family, the money will help the kids move through the horrible time of their lives. Healing will take time, for the loss of their beloved Mom, and dealing with new and harder life without her.

All of the go fund me donations will go directly to the children. I hope you can help! I certainly felt compelled to help and make a difference for this family given these horrific circumstances.

Hi yoga friends---

I am back teaching at a wonderful yoga studio in Wilton, CT.--- Rhoswyn Wellness, which has a plethora a beautiful yoga and wellness classes ranging from hot yoga, Burn and Bloom to restorative and Qi Gong.

All levels are welcome and the studio is just stunning! Showers on each floor as well as heated floors, extra warmth for hot yoga classes upstairs, and a cast list of teachers that are top notch.

I am in awe of the warmth, peacefulness, camaraderie and quality of this studio!

Please join me for classes of WEDNESDAY at 12:30 for Hot Flow
and on WEDNESDAYS at 7:30-8:30 for the Burn and Bloom class, a hot class combo of yoga and light weights for core and strength building.

I am also subbing for many of the other classes too so please check out their schedules. Located right off Rt. 7 at the intersection of Danbury Road and Wolfpit Road in WIlton CT.

Yoga friends, I’m teaching a yoga flow tomorrow at 4:30-5:30 at Rhoswyn Wellness in Wilton CT

For me, I LOVE late Saturday classes because no one in my area offers Saturday afternoon classes.

If you want to drop in, look at their schedule and sign up or just come and you can COME and you can sign in there.

It’s going to be a great invigorating flow yoga class and I can bet you, you’ll feel terrific afterward

Yogis, I have a secret to share and is question to ask? First the question? How many days a week are you practicing yoga? 2?3?4 times?

I have a new challenge for you! It’s a secret sauce that I have discovered in my own practice. Ok here it is….. simple but not always easy.

Practice every day…

at least 10-15 minutes or up to one hour if, if if you have the time (I don’t always but I do MAKE time daily for at least 20 minutes! )

I usually practice in the morning but if I can’t, I try and fit in 10’minutes in the evening as I wind down.

The trick is mix up the practice with a variety of asanas and don’t do the same poses every day( but any foundation pose is fine to repeat!)

Honestly Yogis, this is a game changer for fitness and wellness.!!! It has transformed my body, changed my overall mood, and helped me find peace and centeredness in every day!!

I am Happy to share my journey and a few exercises. It is simplier than you think and once you get in the routine, you will find amazing results!!

Getting serious again about my daily yoga practice! How about you? What’s your favorite yoga pose that makes you feel amazing!

I have so many but today my power pose seemed to be Warrior II because it engages the entire body!

Ready to get back to your regular yoga practice? Ready to try yoga for the first time?

We are back on zoom every Tuesday and Thursday with classes starting at 8:30am! If you are ready to jump on, let me know!

My yoga classes are Iyengar alignment-focused, breath-oriented, core-centered and based on the foundations of flow yoga— it’s a full body workout. Each class finishes with a stretch cool down and total relaxation. Great for beginners or advanced students!

I also offer a yoga fitness class that is more a power flow that uses light weights and the stability ball—this class is fun, upbeat and also for all levels!
