PCOS is now being recognized as PMOS — Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome — a name that better reflects the full-body impact of this condition beyond just the ovaries.

From irregular periods, excess facial/body hair, acne, weight gain, insulin resistance, and hormonal imbalance to hair thinning, darkened skin patches (acanthosis nigricans), fatigue, mood changes, bloating, sugar cravings, sleep disturbances, inflammation, skin changes, metabolic shifts, and fertility challenges, PMOS affects far more than people once realized.

A shift in name, but more importantly, a shift in understanding women’s health!

Dermatologist hot take: the best cosmetic work usually goes unnoticed.

Good treatments shouldn’t make you look like a different person—they should make you look refreshed, balanced, and still like yourself. The goal is enhancement, not transformation.

The most natural results are often the ones people can’t quite put their finger on 🤍

Most people think Accutane has to be intense—but that’s not always true.

For the right patient, low‑dose or “microdosed” isotretinoin can help manage acne and oil production with a gentler, more gradual approach with fewer side effects and a smoother journey overall 🤍

Today we’re saying farewell to the amazing Teresa—our resident sunshine-bringer! ☀️

For the last two years, Teresa has brought nothing but joy, laughter, and incredible energy to our office. Teresa, thank you for being the ultimate teammate and the heart of every office celebration. You’ve shown us all how to truly enjoy life—and you’re the only person we know who can track down free stuff faster than a Google search! 🕵️‍♀️🎁✨

We couldn’t be prouder 🥹 as she heads to Rowan Medical School. Rowan is so lucky to have her! We’ll miss you dearly, but we know you’ll shine just as brightly as a physician as you did here. You’re going to be an incredible physician, Teresa! 👩🏼‍⚕️💙✨🌟💫
