Fevers can be so scary! You watch the number keep going higher and higher.

Temperatures of 104 or even 105 are common in kids because they have powerful immune systems.

It won’t harm them. But it can be hard to watch!

Here’s why it’s more helpful to let the fever run if you can and why how your child is looking and acting matters more than the number on the thermometer.

Pink eye is most often viral!

Meaning drops won’t work, and can sometimes irritate the eye even further 😵‍💫

Hand washing with soap and water frequently, and changing bedding regularly while avoiding sharing towels are the best ways to prevent spread 🫧

Dry skin driving you mad?

Opt for:

Vaseline or Aquaphor
Creams like VaniCream

And avoid lotions! They can make it worse.

Topical steroids are safe to use three times daily for up to 7 days in a row.

Here’s a handy guide with pro-tips for when it’s time to introduce peanuts 🥜

TLDR:

-2 teaspoons 3x/week through age three
-introduce early (4-6 months)!
-mix peanut butter with formula or breastmilk to make it thinner, or grab ground peanuts from the store for babies

As a new mom, I can 100% say that this ended up being by favorite style of baby carrier!

It can be intimidating when you first go to use it, but once you get the hang of it — truly amazing!

Should I do a follow up of me putting it on and baby-wearing 👀???
