Honored to have graduated from the Belle and George Strell Executive Leadership Fellows Program at the Hunter College Silberman School of Social Work alongside an incredible cohort of nonprofit and human services professionals.

This experience challenged me to think deeper, lead with greater intentionality, and continue evolving both personally and professionally. Every speaker brought valuable insight on leadership, systems, workforce development, and innovation that I have already begun applying to my current role and skillset.

A special thank you to my mentor, Kim Watson, whose guidance, wisdom, and leadership throughout this journey were truly invaluable. Your ability to challenge and inspire growth left a lasting impact on me.

Thank you as well to Jonathan Prince for developing this impactful fellowship and to Richard Altman for serving as the Strell Program Coaching Director. Grateful for the knowledge, connections, and perspective gained through this experience.

Grateful. Honored. Grounded. 🏆

To be recognized by The Black Man Can among several other amazing Black Men is more than an award it’s a reminder of the responsibility we carry as men who show up, lead, and create space for the next generation to see what’s possible. Representation isn’t just something we talk about… It’s something we live, every day……

Thank you to Dr. Brandon Frame for your vision, your consistency, and for building a platform that continues to uplift and empower Black men and boys across communities. What you’ve created matters, and I’m proud to be aligned with that mission.

To everyone who nominated me, supported me, and came out to celebrate thank you. Your presence, your belief, and your energy do not go unnoticed. This moment is shared.

🗣️ It’s your life……. REPRESENT accordingly.

In life, when you are born you look like your parents, but when you die you look like your decisions. đź’

Every desk in that room started the same, same space, same opportunity, same beginning. But what separates the doctor from unemployed, rich from homeless, peace from pain….. is not where they started, it’s the choices they made along the way.

People say the graveyard holds the most ideas in the world not because people weren’t capable, but because too many dreams were never acted on, too many decisions were delayed, and too many paths were never chosen.

This picture is the reminder:
You don’t end up where you start… you end up where your decisions take you…… Choose Wisely…..

It’s your LIFE, REPRESENT ACCORDINGLY…..

Moments like this remind me that the work is bigger than programs, titles, or positions it’s about presence. It’s about showing up in ways that shift trajectories, affirm identity, and create possibility where it may not have existed before.

This meant more than words can explain. Because in this work, you don’t always see the immediate results but moments like this are confirmation that presence, consistency, and intention never go unnoticed. Thank you for allowing me to be just that in Ayden’s life!

Guidance isn’t just advice it’s example. It’s accountability. It’s showing young men what’s possible by simply being who you are, authentically and unapologetically……

To be seen as an example, a mentor, a constant… that’s not something I take lightly. Because for many of our young men, representation isn’t just important it’s transformational.

Grateful to stand in spaces where impact is felt, not just spoken about.
