A new study claims people who spend a lot of time on social media are more likely to get plastic surgery.
They say the angle of a "selfie" often distorts facial features in such a way that people don't like the way they look.
"Snapchat dysmorphia" has people seeking treatments like Botox and fillers to try to look more like the filtered or edited versions of themselves.

1. scars have time to heal and fade before summer
2. most swelling subsides in first few months
3. long sleeves, loose sweaters and scarves can hide the treatment areas
4. less sun and cooler temperatures make for an easier recovery

"Tweakments" are usually non-surgical or minimally invasive procedures such as Botox and injectable fillers. The primary "tweakment" patient is usually women, but now more men are getting these enhancements, as they prefer to be "tweaked" rather than "tucked". Male tweakments are aimed at seeking enhancements of signature masculine features, such as a stronger jawline and adding definition to the chin and cheeks. This can be achieved with fillers, seeking to replace softness with more angular features.
