From the Archives | Vogue, 2006
Looking back at this Vogue feature reminds me that while so much has changed in aesthetic medicine over the years, my philosophy has remained consistent.
I've always believed that plastic surgery is not about chasing perfection or trying to make someone look like a younger version of themselves. It's about understanding the individual sitting in front of me and helping them look like the best version of themselves - at every stage of life.
Long before terms like personalized aesthetics and longevity medicine became part of everyday conversation, I was speaking about age-appropriate rejuvenation, preserving identity, and treating the whole person - not just a feature.
As I celebrate 25 years in practice, I'm grateful that the principles I believed in then continue to guide every patient I care for today.
Technology evolves. Techniques advance. But thoughtful, individualized care never goes out of style.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey over the past 25 years. Here's to continuing to learn, innovate, and care for patients for many years to come.
