Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) is a common form of memory decline, often affecting attention, recall, and executive function in older adults. While some cases progress to Alzheimer’s disease, early detection and intervention can help manage symptoms and support brain health.

At Brain Resource Center, we use advanced brain mapping (qEEG) and cognitive screening to identify areas of concern. Our personalised treatment combines neurofeedback, neuromodulation, lifestyle changes, and cognitive behavioural therapy to improve cognition and promote neuroplasticity β€” helping the brain to form new connections and maintain function.

If you or a loved one is experiencing memory difficulties, early assessment is key. Schedule your intake appointment with Dr Fallahpour today.

⚑ Understanding and Treating Epilepsy

Supporting minds. Changing lives.

Seizures are sudden, uncontrolled bursts of electrical activity in the brain that can affect movement, awareness, emotions, and behaviour. Epilepsy is diagnosed when a person has two or more unprovoked seizures at least 24 hours apart.

🧠 Causes of epilepsy can include:
– Stroke
– Head injury
– Brain infections (e.g. meningitis)
– Or, in many cases, no identifiable cause

Changes in brain wiring or imbalances in neurotransmitters may play a key role. At the Brain Resource Center, we offer EEGs and brain scans as part of a thorough diagnostic process to understand brain function and seizure activity.

πŸ”¬ Neurofeedback therapy, a science-based, drug-free method, has been used to successfully treat epilepsy since the 1970s. It works by helping the brain reduce irregular electrical activity and strengthen patterns associated with greater stability.

βœ… SMR (Sensorimotor Rhythm) Neurofeedback helps to:
– Train the brain to increase SMR activity
– Raise the seizure threshold
– Reduce frequency and severity of seizures
– Improve cognitive symptoms such as memory, attention, and brain fog

πŸ“ Every brain is unique, and our approach is tailored to each individual to improve quality of life, reduce symptoms, and support long-term wellness.

🧠 Your Brain Is Unique β€” So Is Your Treatment

At the Brain Resource Center, we understand that no two brains are the same. Your brain activity is as unique as your fingerprint β€” which is why we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to mental health care.

Instead, we create highly personalised treatment plans, tailored to your brain’s dynamics, cognitive function, daily routines, and personal goals.

Our evidence-based, multi-dimensional approach draws on neuroscience and health psychology to effectively treat a wide range of mood, cognitive, and neurological conditions.

Treatments we offer include:
πŸ”Ή Neurofeedback / Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) – non-invasive brain training to rebalance irregular activity
πŸ”Ή tDCS – gentle electrical stimulation to regulate brain function
πŸ”Ή Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – addressing unhelpful thought patterns
πŸ”Ή Clinical Hypnosis – focused therapy for cognitive and emotional issues
πŸ”Ή rTMS – magnetic stimulation, often used in treatment-resistant depression
πŸ”Ή LENS – low-energy feedback to gently shift brainwave activity
πŸ”Ή HEG Neurofeedback – improving blood flow to optimise brain performance
πŸ”Ή Safe and Sound Protocol – calming the nervous system through sound-based therapy
