We saw a truly amazing show last night. It was our 3rd time seeing and every time we have seen her the show has been different, because she and her septet are constantly experimenting with different songs, tempos, and sounds. Her voice is out of this world. I had to break decorum a bit and snap this pic because the NY Phil conductor kept turning around and shaking his head, her singing sounded so good. I got to enjoy this beautiful day in DC with an early morning run. You can't beat the scenery and I even found a good cause to support along the way. Remember to get outside and advocate for yourself with regular fitness!

I love this public art adorning an overpass at 181st street. I can't remember why it was done, or by whom. But it really brought some joy to see its finer details while on a longer than usual run. (Because the sun was blocked by buildings early this AM, I used the AI feature in Google photos to brighten some of the images.)

I'm no influencer, but to those who are trying to be, please represent the best of our profession. I see cheap laughs at patients' expense sometimes and It makes me cringe. It's never harmless. Patients come to us at times of need and they have to trust that their best interests run through our hearts and souls. I got into this job to exemplify the best of humanity. I believe all my colleagues feel that way too.
