It’s Fight Week 🔥

Good luck to Brie Brie Marks, PA-C for her grappling competition this weekend 👊🏾

Brie has been putting in the consistent work to level up her strength/power, gas tank, nutrition, recovery, and weight cutting with a science based approach. She’s feeling great and looking forward to putting on a show for her fight 💯

Good luck to Brie and we’re proud of you win or lose 🤙🏾

We All Know That One Guy 👀

That guy that got into martial arts because lifting weights was considered boring and makes it his identity. That’s fine if you’re a hobbyist, but if your goal is to be a high level fighter in the sport…you’ll need to conduct yourself like a high level athlete and lift for your sport 💯

I don’t care how many clips that martial artists show of bodybuilders and powerlifters getting beat up by a trained fighter…a well trained fighter that lifts for their sport will have the advantage against another fighter with similar skill. Once you consider that being stronger keeps you durable during fight camps and also helps your weight cutting…you are intentionally limiting your potential by not lifting 🔑

What are your thoughts about lifting for combat sports?

We Understand And Care About Our Fighters 💯

Most fighters think that all they need is a workout program and meal plan to follow to have everything figured out, but the truth is that there are usually deeper issues holding them back from being dialed in.

Lots of fighters have odd relationships with food, not being organized with their time, mental health struggles, and let their inner critic lead them to overtrain. Just like your skills coach that tells you what you need to work on instead of what you want to work on…we are the professionals that do the same for the rest of your training 🔑

This is why we have a lot of long term athletes on the roster that continue to improve. They enjoy working with us because we truly understand them, make their lives easier by offloading their training, and allow them to focus on the things they truly enjoy….skills training and life 👊🏾

DM Me “👊🏾” if you want to dial in your training with professionals that understands your sport

There Are Levels To This 💯

Your level of success is related to the amount of difficult conversations that you’re willing to have and that is what separates a lot of fighters 🔑

When fighters are not doing the things needed to help them towards their goal…it is our job to ask the difficult questions needed to get them back on track. The fighters that understand that usually grow because they are putting their ego to the side for their goals. The fighters that prioritize their ego will ghost, talk back, and complain will never grow because they are comfortable doing their nonsense 👎🏾

This is why I give a lot of credit to the long time fighters on the roster that have improved in so many ways. While they may not necessarily enjoy being called out on what needs to improve…they welcome it because they continue to grow due to those difficult conversations 🤙🏾

Are you tired of looking for quick solutions and want to crush the rest of 2026?

It’s About Your Fight Camp Goals 🔑

I often speak to fighters that keep telling me that they’re eating clean, but are either feeling trashed during their fight camps or still have trouble trimming down. This is because they have no idea how many calories and macro nutrients (protein, carbs, fats) they need for their fight camps goals 💯

Some fighters require a lot of calories to fuel their training and recovery….just eating clean may not provide enough calories for those goals, leading them to feeling trashed for their fight camps. Other fighters may have difficulty trimming down because they’re eating a lot of high calorie foods assuming it’s ok because it’s clean to them.

Understanding the calories and macros needed for your fight camp goals and how to properly fuel for them is important if you’re a serious fighter. You can’t put in the quality work if you’re feeling like trash and you can’t put your hard work on display if you can’t make weight 🔑

Feeling lost on how to properly trim down for your fight camps?

DM Me “fight camp” and I’ll send you my free guide to get you started on the right track 👊🏾

I Love This Photo ❤️

2 of my long time athletes in 1 photo and I’ve got to see them grow over time as athletes and people. Sarah Sarah Catherine London started off as my athlete and is now my assistant coach as well. Meizi Meizi Li started off as an athlete on the roster and has grown to start her own fight promotion Infinity Muay Thai Promotions

Over the years…we’ve made awesome gains working together, celebrated some thrilling wins, and supported each other after some disappointing losses as well. Much like the other long time athletes on the roster…I don’t view them as just combat athletes that I work with, but they’re also personal friends as well ❤️

These are the type of people that I love working with and this is why I do what I do 💯

That’s The Fight Game 💯

My assistant coach and athlete Sarah Sarah Catherine London lost a close split decision fight over the weekend. While I thought that Sarah did well enough to win the decision…I can see how the decision went the other way as well.

I’m really proud of Sarah from bouncing back after a devastating loss previously. She looked confident, performed well, and looked like she was having fun in the ring. Wins and losses happens in this sport, but how a fighter bounces back from the low points are crucial for their longevity 🔑

Big credit to her opponent for stepping in on short notice. We’re excited to get back to work and focus on the next fight 👊🏾
