From supporting the musicians behind the scenes to joining them on stage with , the New York Philharmonic’s inaugural Pride concert was a meaningful reminder of the connection between artistry and community.

As a Harkness athletic trainer, Josh Honrado, DAT, helps care for the NY Philharmonic’s musicians throughout the season. As a member of the New York City Gay Men’s Chorus, he had the unique opportunity to perform alongside the very musicians he supports during this special concert.

Together, we celebrate the healing power of the performing arts and the communities that make them possible.

Craft time!
At our recent quarterly meeting, our clinicians traded charts and treatment tables for craft supplies, spending time creating puppets, sharing laughs, and reconnecting through creativity.

These moments remind us that while we give so much to our patients, making space for joy, collaboration, and community is just as important.

Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement®
FINDING FREEDOM WITHIN LIMITATION with guest instructor Ami Shulman

Whether experienced through injury, habit, expectation or burnout, limitations can shape how we perceive ourselves and how we create, express and engage with the world around us. Through the Feldenkrais Method® we will explore how awareness can transform limitation from an obstacle into a source of possibility. In this guided awareness practice, we will experience how we can reshape not only our patterns of movement, but also our patterns of thinking and perception, opening pathways toward greater ease, adaptability, creativity and resilience.

Fee: $10
