Saw this amazing concert/sermon on Monday night. Springsteen started with this anti trump, pro America intro. At 75yo, he played a solid 3 hours, calling out trump, songs celebrating minnesota, alex pritti, renee goode, immigrants, protestors, crowd joining in ‘ICE OUT’ in unison… it was incredible. Bonus: my Harvard ‘86/Currier House classmate, Tom Morello, (Rage against the machine) is touring with him in the E Street Band (unreal guitar solo) and the late Clarence Clemons’ nephew, Jake Clemons, is now E St’s saxophonist. My friends and I left with renewed hope for the end of Trump’s autocracy and a return to the American democracy we love!

A dear friend checked on me saying she knew today was ‘delicate’ for me. That’s such a good word. I miss my mom and grandma deeply, but i’m also so grateful to have had them and I carry them with me always. Wishing everyone a day to celebrate those who mothered them whether in person, over distance or in spirit! And a celebration of thanks for all those who do or did the mothering!

helpful home perfect for 🌎When you can’t squeeze anything more from your tube of cream, don’t throw it out. Instead, cut it in half to reach the rest. Use it straight from the half tubes or transfer to a small travel size jar with a butter knife or small spatula. Reduce waste and perfect for making a purse size of your fav hand or face cream! Also key when your fav product is no longer available. ( why oh why did you discontinue your amazing hand cream - was an office best seller and i’m on my last few tubes 😫)

This Passover, the story of the Jewish people’s deliverance from slavery, is a lesson for us all. Our history reminds us, “ do not oppress a stranger, for you know the feelings of the stranger.” The plagues of yesterday reflect those of today: war, teaching hatred and violence, despoliation of the environment, perversion of justice and government, fomenting vice and crime, neglect of human needs, oppression of nations and peoples, corruption of culture, subjugation of science, learning, and human discourse, the erosion of freedom. We conclude with a prayer for peace, “Next year in Jerusalem! Next year may all be free!” It is our duty as Jews, in fact as humans, to remember for ourselves and for all peoples. Chag Sameach 🫓✡️☮️🇮🇱
