Three LL&M meetings. Three distinct ways to stay connected to the evolving field of blood cancer care.

In this video, John Leonard, MD, explains how LL&M Great Debates, LL&M Congress, and LL&M Winter Symposium each serve a different purpose, from working through clinical uncertainty to exploring the field in greater depth and reviewing timely updates following the year’s major hematology meetings.

Together, they offer year-round opportunities to engage with the data, decisions, and discussions shaping hematologic malignancy care.

Dr. Joseph Mikhael has a personal invitation for hematology and oncology fellows: join us at LL&M Congress this October.

Throughout the program, fellows will have opportunities to learn from leading experts, ask questions, and gain perspective on the clinical decisions shaping hematologic oncology.

Then, at the dedicated Fellows Reception, the conversation becomes more personal.

Connect with faculty and fellow trainees, discuss career paths and professional development, and hear candid perspectives on balancing research, patient care, and a fulfilling life in medicine.

Consider this your invitation from Dr. Mikhael himself and join us: https://bit.ly/45vZyAK

Two days of sharp questions, competing perspectives, and spirited discussion have come to a close in Dallas.

Thank you to our amazing faculty for challenging the evidence and defending their positions, and to every attendee who brought thoughtful questions and real-world experience into the room.

We are also grateful to our sponsors and supporters for helping make this year’s program possible.

The sessions may be over, but the clinical questions are not. These conversations continue in practice, with the patients and decisions that make these debates matter.

The myeloma sessions are officially underway at and the discussion is already off to a strong start.

Faculty are examining some of the field’s most pressing questions, from the evolving role of transplant and frontline immune-based therapies to BCMA sequencing and treatment decisions in high-risk smoldering myeloma.

Thoughtful perspectives, strong clinical arguments, and plenty more discussion still ahead.

What do the World Cup, the New England Patriots, Rocky, Moneyball, and the Avengers have in common? At , they all became part of the case for in older patients with recurrent .

Praveen Ramakrishnan Geethakumari, MD, MS, MBA, FACP, brought the clinical evidence to life as he argued that:

⚽ CAR T offers a single-infusion strategy with curative potential
🏈 Durable remission is the real “dynasty” metric
🥊 Age alone should not exclude an older patient from consideration
🧠 Fitness and geriatric assessment should guide selection more than chronology
🦸 CAR T and may ultimately work best as complementary strategies, not permanent rivals

For an older patient with relapsed DLBCL, how should efficacy, fitness, toxicity, treatment burden, and the possibility of durable remission shape the choice between CAR T and bispecific therapy?

That is what makes a Great Debate: serious evidence, opposing positions, and faculty willing to make the discussion memorable. Which analogy takes the championship? Tell us below!

Back for Day 2, and the debates are far from settled.

Today at LL&M Great Debates, faculty and attendees return to the questions shaping care across leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and CLL, with more evidence to examine, more perspectives to challenge, and more clinical decisions to debate.

Welcome to Day 2 in Dallas. Let’s get started!
