Sleep consistency may matter more than you think.
A growing body of research suggests that when you sleep may be nearly as important as how long you sleep. Maintaining a consistent sleep schedule can play an important role in long-term health and may be one of the most underrated tools in preventive care.
To help keep your internal clock on track:
✓ Keep a consistent wake time most days
✓ Get outdoor light early in the day
✓ Dim lights in the evening to prepare for sleep
✓ Limit late-day caffeine
✓ Avoid alcohol close to bedtime
✓ Finish heavy meals earlier in the evening
✓ Avoid intense exercise too close to bedtime
At Elitra Health, we look at sleep as part of the bigger picture. The Elitra Exam combines comprehensive testing with clear next steps, helping you build a longevity plan based on your health data rather than guesswork.
