now here’s the point:

📱 bedtime [ revenge ] procrastination is SO real — trying to take advantage of time at night to scroll, watch extra shows, do random chores, start new projects… anything to take a little control back of a life that demands so much of us every day.

👉🏼 go ahead and watch your shows - but if you wouldn’t set the alarm to wake up early to binge, is it worth it staying up later than you should?

💡 you have a brilliant idea and went to take advantage of the quiet time - but if it’s not so urgent that you would wake up before the day starts, do you need to do it at 11pm?

What unhinged things have you don’t when procrastinating bedtime 😏

Anxious around doctors? Some people might experience elevated blood pressure and nervousness around “white coats...” especially if they’ve experienced medical gaslighting or have an “invisible” illness.

Try this:

📝 Bring a SHORT “medical resume” - yes they have your records, but a quick overview and focus on recent symptoms and diagnosis can make things easier

🗣️Prep a few bullet points of topics and questions you need answered and say them out loud- yes, OUT LOUD- a few times before you get there!

🤝Share your concerns with your sleep coach, the nurse or PA at the practice. These professionals can advocate for you!
