Self-awareness isn’t about judging yourself - its about UNDERSTANDING yourself. The more you recognize your patterns, the more intentionally you can respond instead of react.

So many people claim to be self aware but then turn around and meet people with “the same energy” they’re getting. And sometimes that might be the reason why you’re not getting that promotion or having fulfilling relationships with others. We’re not perfect and sometimes we just need that person to help point out the patterns that are keeping us stuck.

That’s where I come in. I can help you recognize the patterns that are keeping you stuck and preventing you from reaching that next level. DM me “LEVEL UP” and let’s book your discovery call today!

Discipline is always something I’ve struggled with as an adult because I never had to push through the hobbies and activities I wasn’t naturally good at. Learning and school always came easy to me because I loved to read. It wasn’t until I became older and had to develop the discipline to study and engage in fitness that I realized I lacked this important skill. If I don’t love it instantly - I don’t want it.

And patience? I can be patient with other people but when it comes to myself - patience who? patience where? 👀 Its so easy to forget that the journey is part of the process and in order to be GREAT you have to be patient.

Happy to share that I’m officially an Licensed Clinical Social Worker!

This journey was filled with twists and turns that I never expected. When I first signed up to take my exam, there were limited spots available and I wanted to take the exam before it shifted to the new one in August.
In signing up - I only had about one solid week to prepare so I buckled down with my prep course and practice exams. I was so overwhelmed and anxious because I thought I would have more time to prepare.

On the day of the exam I was so filled with anxiety that my hands were shaking and I had to use my coping skills (perks of being a therapist) to relax and get through the exam. When I saw that I had passed I felt so much relief it was like a weight had been lifted in that moment because this was everything I had been working towards.

Only to find out when I got home that I had passed… my Masters Exam. Turns out because I took my exam in Jersey the first time, the NY Masters exam was still available to take in my portal and in the rush to sign up, somehow I had registered for my Masters instead of my Clincal. Even though I said Clinical exam several times at the testing center - it never occurred to me that I could’ve been taking the wrong test until after I checked it online.

The heartbreak I experienced in that moment from that adrenaline crash and all the work to prepare for my Clinical Exam was so overwhelming. I truly was feeling like I was a failure because how could I make such a simple mistake.

I could’ve let that moment overtake me and chosen to give up or delay taking the test again. Everything in me was just so exhausted from this process (because getting approved to even TAKE the exam is a process). Instead, with the encouragement of my tribe - I signed up for the right exam and was able to pass on the first try!

The lesson in this story is 1) Always check the exam you’ve signed up for even when they ask you and confirm again at the desk 2) Sometimes the setbacks are necessary to your larger journey and can help you succeed.

I’m sharing my story because this is a powerful lesson in making mistakes and coming back stronger.

Have you ever worked a job where you get “voluntold” to do something?

Sometimes it feels like a compliment because yeah of course I’m so good at my job they want to ask ME. But in reality it just feels like another thing to add to your plate.

So let me ask you, are you the person who “takes one for the team” or are you the person who holds your boundaries? Because if its not in my contract and I’m not getting compensated- then it’s time to go home.

Not because I don’t care or because I don’t love helping out but because its important to protect your peace and sanity. We can’t pour from an empty cup and saying YES when you mean NO is how we burnout.

If this sounds like you or someone you know - comment “PEACE” to sign up for my FREE workshop that discusses:
✅ How to protect your peace and hold boundaries
✅How to expand your capacity to live in alignment
✅What choosing yourself looks like when yourself recovering from burnout

You know that feeling where you want to:
✈️ disappear
📵 ignore everyone
🛏️ hide for a week
…and start your entire life over?

Yeah.

That’s not always “being dramatic.” 😅

Sometimes it’s burnout.

Because when you’ve been:
→ pushing through
→ carrying too much
→ ignoring what you actually need

your mind and body start looking for an escape.

And here’s the part no one talks about:

Every ending is a new beginning.

But sometimes the hardest part is admitting:
this version of you is exhausted.

Not weak.
Not lazy.
Just maxed out.

So if you’ve been feeling anxious, emotionally drained, or like you want to run away from your own life…

Maybe it’s not a sign to quit everything.

Maybe it’s a sign you need more support, more boundaries, and more capacity.

That’s exactly what I’m talking about in my FREE workshop on burnout, resilience, and capacity building for high-achieving professionals + helpers 🤍

“I don’t have enough time.”

Meanwhile…

you somehow found energy for:
✨ the Bad Bunny concert
✨ brunch
✨ the birthday trip
✨ scrolling TikTok for 2 hours
✨ reorganizing your entire apartment at 11pm instead of resting 😅

So maybe it’s not just about time.

Maybe it’s:
→ exhaustion
→ no boundaries
→ constantly prioritizing everyone else
→ doom scrolling instead of decompressing
→ saying “yes” to things you don’t even want to do
→ and a mindset that keeps telling you:
“I’ll choose myself later.”

And that’s how burnout happens.

Not all at once.

But slowly.

Quietly.

Through all the little ways you abandon yourself every day.

Because the truth is:

When something really matters to you…
you suddenly “find the time.”

You find the energy.
You show up.
You make it happen.

So what would happen if you treated yourself like you matter too?

Your peace.
Your goals.
Your future.
Your capacity.

At some point, you have to stop waiting for motivation and decide:

You are no longer going to be the thing standing in the way of your own growth.

Because expanding your capacity starts with choosing yourself differently.

And honestly?

That version of you is waiting 👀

Good Luck Today ☀️

Mindset shifts start small. Little habits and choices we make, can set the tone for the day or allow us to shift out of a bad day. Your mind is such a powerful tool and it believes everything you tell it.

So today, choose to be kind to yourself. Say some affirmations and lean into a moment of gratitude.

Today I’m feeling grateful for beautiful weather and delicious chocolate chai.

Comment below 👇: What are you feeling grateful for today?

You do it all. You work hard, pour into everyone around you, and then still try to find time to pour into yourself. So you decide to do some self care - a face mask, a massage, a weekend getaway.

But you’re not feeling any better. Instead you’re only feeling MORE overwhelmed because the time you used for self care has only made you feel more anxious because now you have less time to do your never ending list.

What if I told you that self care isn’t the solution to burnout, but rather the PREVENTION to burnout. The self care isn’t working not because you don’t need it but because you needed it sooner. And you didn’t recognize the signs of burnout because you were too busy GOING.

If you’re interested in slowing down and actually recovering from burnout, comment “BREAD” to get access to sign up for my FREE Workshop so you can learn exactly what it takes you to life the soft life. 🍞
