For so many of us, we had to ”grow up” faster than we would have liked and because of this we have seemingly lost an important connection to our inner child.

How do we began to get back in touch with the “little” us that still exist within us all? How do we show up for them even in our adult bodies so that our smaller selves can begin to heal and feel safe?

Have you reintroduced the “newer you” to the ones around you?

Acknowledge the fact that we are experiencing this life right now and constantly changing. Who you were then may not translate to the person you are today. Your life is your story to tell. With every experience, you have added more to the pages of your life. It is growing. You are growing. So get in the habit of reintroducing the “newer you” to the ones around you. Don’t allow yourself or others to keep you stuck in a narrative that no longer represents who you are now.

We sometimes can’t move forward if we are constantly being reminded of our past versions.
