Most people have been told their core is weak and handed a list of exercises that don’t actually fix anything.
That’s because nobody told them the truth.

Your core isn’t just your abs. It’s a four-part system — and if one piece isn’t working, the whole thing breaks down.
Leaking, back pain, pressure, instability... these aren’t random. They’re connected.

I made this carousel because you deserve to know what’s actually going on in your body.
Save this. Share it with someone who needs it.
And follow so you never miss the information your doctor forgot to give you.

Sometimes your calling finds you in the moments you least expect.

In this episode with Maya, I share the story of how I discovered pelvic floor physical therapy and why I became so passionate about helping women reconnect with their bodies, heal, and feel empowered again. 🤍

This work became so much bigger than physical therapy for me. It became a mission.

Part 2: So what exactly are hypopressives? And why are they such a game changer for pelvic recovery?

Hypopressives are a unique system of breathing, posture, and pressure management exercises designed to help restore deep core and pelvic floor function from the inside out. Unlike traditional “core work” that can sometimes create more downward pressure, hypopressives help reduce pressure through the abdomen and pelvic floor while encouraging a natural lift and activation of these muscles.

This is why they can be so revolutionary for postpartum recovery, prolapse symptoms, core weakness, pelvic floor dysfunction, and so much more.

The body was never meant to just “push through.” Sometimes healing comes from learning how to reconnect, regulate pressure, breathe differently, and work with your body instead of against it 🤍

Story time 👀 Here’s part 1 of how I discovered just how vital and effective hypopressives can be!

As a pelvic floor PT, I’m always searching for tools that truly help people heal, reconnect with their bodies, and feel stronger from the inside out… and hypopressives completely changed the game for me.

This journey opened my eyes to how much breath, pressure management, posture, and deep core connection really matte, especially when it comes to pelvic health!

Stay tuned for part 2 where I go deeper into what hypopressives actually are, how they work, and why I use them so often in practice!

The Truth About… Lower Back Pain!

If something doesn’t feel right in your body, it matters. Even if you’ve been told it’s “normal” or something you just have to live with, ongoing back pain is not something you are meant to ignore.

Pain is not random. It is your body communicating that something needs attention, and constantly stretching or pushing through it is not the solution.

There is always a reason behind lower back pain, and sometimes it’s not just your back. Your pelvic floor, core coordination, and even your nervous system all play a role in how your body supports your spine.

Relief is not asking for too much, and feeling strong and supported in your body is not a bonus. It is how your body is meant to function.

If this is something you’ve been dealing with, you are not stuck with it.

Follow for the truths no one taught you about your body ✨
