For our Big Apple Urgent Care patients who are health care workers in NYC:
BREAKING NEWS! My fellow high risk health care personnel in NYC who are NOT affiliated with a major medical system can start getting COVID-19 vaccinations as of tomorrow 1/5/21 per the NYC.gov website.
This group includes: outpatient and ambulatory frontline workers, nursing home residents and staff, staff at COVID-19 testing sites, medical examiners and coroners, EMS, funeral workers with direct contact with infectious material, staff at facilities for the developmental disabilities/mental health/addictions services, urgent care providers, staff at dental practices, all frontline high risk public health workers who have direct contact with patients.
Big Apple Urgent Care plans to carry the vaccine for your convenience as soon as it is available to us from the NYC Dept of Health.
LET’S START PUTTING AN END TO THIS PANDEMIC. REMEMBER: VACCINES END PANDEMICS!!
