This is the cafe where I studied my butt off while completing my Internship year at McLean Hospital/ Harvard University and South Shore Mental Health (now called Aspire Health). Pretty sure I hit the last keystroke of my doctoral paper while sipping on a Caffè Nero coffee right here (this very location was my spot), and marked the end of my time as a graduate student at University of Denver ! 🔬
What a wild ride that year was….
Had to stop by as I zipped through Boston to pay homage!

• Holding boundaries without overextending yourself

But seriously, why would a psychologist post a photo on social media of them with a glass of alcohol?
For me, it’s not so much about Dry January, as it is about Vegan January. I can’t give up everything, so I let myself have the occasional great glass of w**e. To me, that’s good health.

As an entrepreneur I never take time off, and not working today made me itchy to get back to it, but Thanksgiving waits for no one!

Giving thanks by making the family dinner happen, taking care of the dog, and planning to collapse into bed at 8:45pm.….I think they tried to sell me on this concept in grad school….
