The fall term of my study and supervisory group in psychoanalytic field theory will begin on Wednesday, September 9, from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. ET.

Registration ends on August 15.

The group will meet VIRTUALLY every other Wednesday through December 2. Each session combines discussion of key readings in field theory, with particular attention to the Italian tradition, and supervision of clinical material presented by participants.

The fee is $70 per session, with a sliding scale available for candidates and early-career clinicians ($35-$65).

I am a psychoanalyst in private practice in NY/NJ. I studied with the late S. Montana Katz and continue to develop my work through ongoing study with Giuseppe Civitarese.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions and/or register.

Dear Colleagues,

Registration is open now for the spring term of my study and supervisory group in Psychoanalytic Field Theory. This is an online group for new clinicians from all mental health modalities.

Sessions are structured around two components: didactic and clinical. The didactic part of each session relies on seminal papers published by psychoanalysts within the major branches of field theory (South American, North American, and Italian), while the clinical portion of the session focuses on material brought by the participants. No prior experience in field theory is required.

The spring term will meet online for 6 sessions, Tuesdays from 2 to 3:30 pm, starting April 2. The cost per session is $55.

You can reach out to me if you have questions or if you would like more information.

I am opening another Study Group for new clinicians (1-6 years of experience) this Fall. The theme this time is Gender and Sexuality. All types of mental health clinicians are welcome.

This is an opportunity to create a collegial and supportive network while exploring psychoanalytic field theory. Sessions will be structured around two components: didactic and clinical. The didactic part of each session will rely either on short lectures or papers published by people working within the major branches of psychoanalytic field theory (South American, North America, and Italian). The clinical portion will focus on material brought by participants.

Though knowledge of psychoanalytic field theory is not necessary, I will offer a session before the study group starts for clinicians who are not versed in this particular set of theories. The group will meet online for 7 sessions, Wednesdays 11-12:30, starting on October 4 and ending on November 15. The cost per session is $55. (The introductory session on field theory will be September 27.)

You can reach out to me if you have questions or would like to register.
