🌡️ Remember the signs of heat-related illness:
💧 Heat exhaustion: Heavy sweating, dizziness, weakness, nausea, headache or cool, clammy skin.
🚨 Heat stroke: A body temperature of 103°F or higher, confusion, hot or dry skin, fainting or loss of consciousness. Heat stroke is a medical emergency—call 911 immediately.

Please check on older adults, young children, neighbors, and anyone without reliable air conditioning. Staying cool could save a life.

Closings Due to Severe Weather

Due to the severe weather impacting our region, the following ChristianaCare services will be closed on Monday, February 23, 2026. Patients whose appointments are affected are being contacted so that they can reschedule.
• Outpatient physician practices will be closed for in-person appointments. Virtual appointments will be completed as scheduled.
• All other outpatient services are closed, including outpatient lab, imaging and rehabilitation services.
• Elective surgical procedures are being postponed.
Our hospitals and emergency services continue to operate normally. If you have an emergency, please call 911.
