For Men's Health Week, we are spotlighting Danny Tamayo, FNP-C, Founder and Family Nurse Practitioner for Prime Vitality Men's Health here in NJ.
This year's Men's Health Week theme is "Partners in Care: For Better Lifespans Across the Lifespan," underscoring the importance of prevention and quality care for men.
Danny explained his journey into working in the Men's Health as a nurse practitioner:
He said, "My path to Men's Health was shaped by more than fifteen years of experience across emergency care, primary care, home health, and community medicine. Over time, I kept seeing the same pattern: men struggling with low energy, weight gain, and a diminished quality of life, often without realizing that hormonal imbalances were at the root of it. Once I began working with testosterone replacement therapy and medical weight loss, I saw first hand how transformative the right treatment could be. That's when I knew this was where I could make the greatest difference.
Men's Health Week gives us the opportunity to open that door and encourage men to take the first step toward feeling their best."
