Last week, we celebrated our incredible University Hospital employees who make our hospital and our community stronger at our Annual Employee Appreciation BBQ!

Colleagues came together to enjoy delicious food, music, games and time to connect with one another outside of their day-to-day roles. Most importantly, the BBQ was a chance to celebrate and recognize the incredible dedication of our employees. Every day, our team works together to care for our patients, support their families and serve our community with compassion, commitment and purpose.

University Hospital and Essex County College are strengthening the health care workforce pipeline in Newark and Essex County.

Last week, UH and .county.college celebrated their radiology training partnership and signed a clinical partnership agreement that provides ECC Radiography Program students with hands-on experience at University Hospital.

Through clinical training alongside experienced health care professionals, students gain the skills and experience needed to enter this critical field, while creating pathways to employment and economic opportunity in our community.

Together, UH and ECC are investing in the next generation of radiology professionals and helping support timely access to essential imaging services.

University Hospital EMS was honored to be part of the coordinated emergency medical response supporting the FIFA World Cup Final at New York New Jersey Stadium.

Working alongside local, regional, and state public safety agencies, University Hospital EMS, Newark N.J. ambulance crews and the JEMSTAR medevac team helped ensure spectators, staff, and participants had access to rapid emergency medical care throughout one of the world's largest sporting events.
