📚 Students in Grades 3–12 are invited to enter our Grandparent of the Year Essay Contest by telling us why their grandparent deserves this special honor.

🏆 The winning grandparent will be recognized as Licking County's 2026 Grandparent of the Year, and the student author will receive our Grand Prize Trophy and other exciting prizes!

Whether it's a grandparent who always cheers you on, shares life's greatest lessons, or simply gives the best hugs, we want to hear their story.

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR GRAND PRIZE WINNER! 🎉

A big congratulations to Carol Brockway, the Grand Prize Winner of the Senior Living Across Licking County Tour of Homes! Carol and her husband visited at least nine participating senior living communities in just two days, earning a free overnight stay and dinner at the Granville Inn, generously donated by the Granville Inn. 🏡💕

Flint Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation was proud to be one of the stops along this year’s tour and loved welcoming visitors into our community! A huge thank you to all of the participating communities, sponsors, and everyone who helped make this event such a success—and special thanks to Dave Doney and WNKO 101.7 for helping spread the word. Networking is always better with a view! ☀️🚤

What a wonderful afternoon with Smooth Transitions at beautiful Buckeye Lake! We started out relaxing on their gorgeous deck, mingling with other local professionals and learning more about Smooth Transitions and the services they provide.

Then came the best part — an amazing and very informative boat tour of Buckeye Lake! We learned so much about the history of the lake, its beaches, wineries, islands and some of the beautiful homes along the shoreline. We even got to see the former Buckeye Lake island home of Wendy’s founder Dave Thomas and learned about Journal Island, which was owned for more than 100 years by the Wolfe family, the former owners of The Columbus Dispatch!.

It was the perfect combination of networking, learning, beautiful scenery and a whole lot of fun! 💕 I always enjoy opportunities to connect with other businesses in our community, especially when we get to learn something new along the way.

A huge thank you to Smooth Transitions for being such wonderful hosts and putting together such a memorable afternoon! 🌊☀️🚤
