On September 9, 2026, Westview Behavioral Health Services hosted their Annual Recovery Event. The Clinical Treatment staff, Prevention staff and CEO-Hugh Gray were active participants in the event. Dinner was served and three guest speakers gave testimonies about their Recovery journey.

Westview Behavioral Health Services attended The Senior P.R.E.P. event that took place at the Edward Kyzer Newberry Firehouse Conference Center on September 17, 2026. P. R. E. P. stands for Planning and Resources for Emergency Preparedness and was hosted by the Central Midlands Area Agency on Aging, South Carolina Department on Aging, the Newberry County Council on Aging and the South Carolina Emergency Management Division. Thank you to everyone who made this a successful event.

The Saluda County Coroner’s Office is hosting a free training on "Kratom & Other Gas Station Drugs" on Thursday, October 22 at 830am at St. Paul UMC of Saluda, SC.

Prevention staff from Cornerstone's 8th Circuit AET program and Westview Behavioral Health Services (our partner agency serving Saluda and Newberry counties) will be participating in this eye-opening educational opportunity.
