Vi❤️ had a checkup with her new cardiologist today. She still has quite a bit of shunting from her VSD, but she is growing and healthy. The main concer with this is the risk of infection moving into her heart. She wouldn't cooperate long enough to get all of the views during her echo, so we will try again at her next visit in one year ☺️.

I'm so excited! This is what we are doing for Mothers day this year! We also bought raffle tickets for a chance to go on the field during batting practice! 🤗

TBF is a great organization that offered our family assistance when we were first dealing with VI's❤️ heart condition. It's a great way to spend Mothers Day and it's for a great cause!! Hope to see you there!!

Today we wear RED for Vi❤️ on CHD Awareness Day.

This time last year we were worried about leaving the house due to increased chance of infection after VI's open heart surgery. Today we played outside without a care in the world. We rolled in the grass, slid down the slide and chased each other. I still get choked up when I think about how far my cutie pie Vi❤️ has come.
