Last evening, at the Orange County EMS-EMT Graduation and Awards Ceremony, members of our Emergency Department team were recognized with some of the highest honors presented by the EMS community.

- Emergency Department Charge Nurses: Excellence in EMS Quality and Safety Award.
- Katrine (Kat) Madsen, RN: EMS Clinical Partner of Excellence Award.
- Dr. Joseph Felice: Physician of Excellence Award.

As recipients of these distinguished honors, they will now advance for consideration at the state level, representing not only Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall but the very best of emergency care throughout New York. These awards are especially meaningful because they come from our EMS partners, the dedicated first responders who work alongside our teams every day and witness firsthand the professionalism, clinical expertise, teamwork, and compassion our staff bring to every patient encounter.
