When someone experiences a mental health crisis, the first interaction can change everything.

Episode 29 of Coweta 441 spotlights Coweta Cares, a partnership between Coweta County Fire Rescue (CCFR) and Pathways Center Mental Health that brings trained mental health professionals directly to the scene. This team delivers on-time assessments, stabilization and coordinated follow-up care, offering a safer, more compassionate alternative to an automatic ER visit or law enforcement response.

Hear from CCFR Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Division Chief Brian Beckworth and Dr. Courtney Pierce as they explain how Coweta Cares is already making a difference in Coweta County.
