We have some wonderful news to share with our Coweta Samaritan Clinic friends!

This year’s Tony Barnhart College Football Kickoff Breakfast raised more than $43,000 for the Clinic, a new event record! Whether you joined us that morning, supported the event from afar, or cheer on the work of the Clinic throughout the year, we are SO grateful to have you as part of this community. Every dollar raised helps us continue providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare to uninsured Coweta County adults in need.

An event like this truly takes a team, and we want to give a special shout-out to the many people who made this record-breaking year possible:
• Our incredible sponsors, whose generosity provides the foundation for the event each year. We are so grateful for your investment in our mission and our patients!
• Our raffle and auction donors, who gave such fantastic items and helped us make this year’s fundraising even more fun and successful!

Tony Barnhart to headline Samaritan Clinic football breakfast next week

College football fans still have time to reserve a seat for the Coweta Samaritan Clinic's annual College Football Kickoff Breakfast featuring veteran college football analyst Tony Barnhart.

The fundraiser begins at 7 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, in the fellowship hall at Central Baptist Church. Proceeds will benefit the Coweta Samaritan Clinic, which provides medical care to uninsured residents in the community.

Known as "Mr. College Football," Barnhart has covered the sport for more than five decades and is a longtime television analyst, author and columnist.

Individual tickets are $100, while reserved tables for eight are available for $1,000. Raffle tickets are $25 each or five for $100. A Chick-fil-A breakfast will be served.

Sponsorship opportunities also remain available. Game Day Great sponsorships are $2,000, and Blitz Backer sponsorships are $1,000. Sponsors receive reserved seating, event recognition and promotional opportunities.

Thank you to the Newnan Kiwanis Club for inviting Coweta Samaritan Clinic Executive Director Kelly Hines to speak at this week's meeting!

Kelly enjoyed sharing updates on the Clinic's growth over the past year, including our recently completed building renovation and the addition of onsite dental services. The impact has already been remarkable. In just the first six months of 2026, our dental clinic has provided 295 patient appointments, surpassing the 265 dental appointments provided during all of 2025.

We're grateful for community partners like Kiwanis who invest their time, support, and friendship in helping us expand access to compassionate healthcare for our neighbors in need. Together, we're changing and saving lives.
