With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of George Causebrook Peters, IV, who departed from this world on August 25, 2026, at the age of 55. Born on June 7, 1971, in Okinawa, Japan, George journeyed through life with a spirit that touched all who knew him.

George was an incredible father and devoted husband to his beloved wife, Beth Peters. Together, they nurtured a beautiful family, leaving behind five adoring children-Katie, Kari, Kali, Abby, and Alex-as well as joyous grandchildren, Joseph, Charlotte, Georgia, Jude and Ricky. His legacy lives on in the warmth of their memories and the love they share.

He was, without a doubt, a hard-working man who possessed the remarkable ability to fix anything, especially cars. A gifted programmer and manager, George dedicated his professional life to his craft, displaying a rare passion for technology that inspired those around him. His love for soccer shone brightly, both as a fervent fan and as a coach, where he imparted the values of teamwork and sportsmanship to younger generations.

Beyond his career and coaching, George found joy in tending to his property, often graced by the gentle presence of his geese, Betty and William. His home was a sanctuary of love and laughter, echoing with fond memories of family gatherings.

The celebration of life for George will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson Street, in Newnan. The family will receive friends an hour...
