Upper Blepharoplasty. Refreshed and refined ✨

This patient presented to me at Marcus Medical Spa (Redondo Beach, CA) seeking a natural-appearing refresh for her upper eyelids. I performed an Upper Blepharoplasty. With the extra folds of eyelid skin removed, she loves how natural and undetectable her result is. Results are shown at 2 months.

Deep Plane Neck Lift. Two (2) weeks post-op and we couldn’t resist a sneak preview of that jawline!

I’m honored to call this gentleman a patient, physician colleague and a friend. I did a deep neck lift involving meticulous sculpting and reduction of his deep neck contents: different layers of muscles, submandibular glands, deep fat pads of the neck, deep cervical fascia, etc. Incisions were made around the ear lobe and behind the ear, and underneath the chin.

At only two (2) weeks post-op, he still has some swelling and redness along the lateral neck which is settling as his tissues heal. He is being diligent with post-op hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic drainage therapy to facilitate his healing process.

Lower Blepharoplasty and Forehead Osteoma

This gentleman (49) felt his lower eyelids were making him appear tired. He was also bothered by a hard bump on his forehead which was slowly growing. I performed the following surgery to address his concerns:

✅ Lower blepharoplasty with fat transposition
✅ Endoscopic excision of forehead osteoma (1.2 cm)

Osteomas are slow-growing, benign tumors of bone. They most commonly grow on the cranium/skull or facial bones. A CT scan was obtained to confirm its limits and attachment. It was removed off the frontal bone using endoscopic cameras and instruments through a single 1 cm incision behind the hairline. A coarse diamond bur (drill) was used to contour the frontal bone to ensure a smooth profile.

Two months post-op and looking gorgeous! My lovely patient (58) came to see me from Arizona for a comprehensive facial refresh:

✅ Lower blepharoplasty with fat transposition
✅ Lip lift with Corner lifts
✅ Facial fat grafting

💯 My favorite transformations here are the under-eyes and the mouth.

Repositioning the lower eyelid fat into the cheek eliminated the deep under-eye hollow. Meanwhile, the extended deep plane facelift and lip lift combined to rejuvenate the entire oral region. Marionette lines are gone. Corners of the mouth are lifted. Her lips look full and youthful, but she has zero lip filler - the lip lift enhanced her natural upper lip volume while giving her mouth a more balanced and sensual appearance.

We LOVE her result!! And the best is yet to come 😉

Sherry (58) is only 2 weeks out from her facial rejuvenation surgery and skin resurfacing (see details below). She is healing beautifully, and her surgical incisions will start to fade over the next several weeks. The lip lift and buccal fat reduction complement the deep plane facelift perfectly. Two years ago, I performed a lower blepharoplasty and fat grafting around her eyes.
