☕ Sometimes the smallest gestures make the biggest impact.
It started with something simple—a cup of coffee.
Sarah has been adding her own special touch to the Bistro by writing little inspirational sayings on the Starbucks coffee sleeves. Just a few words meant to brighten someone’s day, bring a smile, or remind them that someone is thinking about them.
One of those messages was written especially for our resident, Ann. Sarah may not have realized it at the time, but those few handwritten words truly stayed with her.
During our Creative Expressions class last week, our Engaged Life Director, Lyn asked everyone a simple question:
“What is one thing that made you smile today?”
Ann’s answer wasn’t about a big event or activity. She shared the story of Sarah and the special message she had written for her on her coffee. ❤️
That moment was such a beautiful reminder that making a difference doesn’t always require something grand. Sometimes it’s a warm cup of coffee, a handwritten message, and someone taking an extra moment to say, “I see you. I hope you have a brew-itful day.”
And judging by these smiles, I’d say Sarah’s little messages are serving up much more than coffee. ☕💕
Kindness has a way of sticking with us long after the coffee cup is empty.
