Embark Newport Beach had the absolute pleasure sponsoring the
OC-CAMFT "2023 Celebrate Everything MFT" event at the lovely Tustin Ranch Golf Course. We had a wonderful time sharing our BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) and had the pleasure of connecting and collaborating with other fellow mental health professionals. 🤩

We are currently enrolling teens and young adults into our PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) and IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) services! Please feel to reach out for more information or if you have any questions. 🌈

"Create Art, Heal Generations" ❤️🧡💛💚💙
Embark Newport Beach had the distinct pleasure of being able to invite in a community of professionals ranging from teachers and librarians, to therapists to speak about how we with with our exceptionally talented Art Therapist, Kathaleena (Kathy) Thirtle, LMFT, ATR.

Art Therapy is a fervent passion for Kathy, and currently there isn't much information about what looks like in real-world practice, unfortunately.

Kathy led a group of adults through a mock art therapy directive, and spoke about how Embark Behavioral Health utilizes Art Therapy as an alternative vehicle to tap into those non-verbal parts of experience that can be harder to reach with traditional modes of therapy. Kathy also spoke about the direct connection between the , co-regulation, and art therapy.
