Who We Serve 🤍

At our practice, we welcome women, men, couples, teens, children & parents, therapists & graduate students, and groups, creating a space where every person feels seen, heard, and understood.

Our approach is deeply personalized because your story is unlike anyone else’s. We tailor therapy to your unique needs, drawing from psychodynamic, attachment, somatic, analytic, and depth-oriented approaches to support lasting healing—not just temporary relief.

Many of the struggles we face today are rooted in experiences that have shaped us over time. Together, we’ll gently explore those deeper places with compassion and care, helping you better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and move toward a life that feels more whole, meaningful, and connected.

No matter where you are in your journey, you don’t have to walk it alone. We’re here to walk alongside you. 🤍

All of us therapists at Salt have the calling to be healers.

We’re aware that we live in a world that brings immense heartache and suffering. However, in our offices, we are comfortable walking into the places with our clients that need tenderness and care.

Your tears are safe with us.

With compassion, grace, and truth, we’ll come alongside you to restore peace to your heart, mind, and body. We hope that, through the process of therapy, you’ll be able to rise up again, go back into your world, be more whole, more confident in your worth, with the ability to be a healer to those around you; to be the salt of the earth.

Taking time to heal does not make you weak.

In fact, this is what is necessary in order to remain strong.

This season has been hard and exhausting.
Now is not the time to simply ignore our wounds.

Do what you need to do, in order for you to come back ready, to come back whole, renewed.

Whether this is stronger than ever, or an acceptance of your tenderness, an invitation granted for the gentle places. This is the only path to true strength.

Take a walk, call a friend, close the laptop, put the phone down, take the day off, or even the next ten minutes off. Reflect. Listen. Relax.

You are worthy of healing and, beloved, this includes the time it takes to do so. 🤍

We believe in the power of wholeness.

Life is hard, and many of us are broken by the hard. We decide to go to therapy because we long for better. Wholeness is the process of therapy, leading you into meadows of peace and freedom.

At Salt, we hold your hard moments of complex trauma, the difficulties and pain you experienced in your relationships growing up, and the challenges that followed in adult life, with love and tenderness. We speak to your wholeness amongst the hardships—whether that be trauma, grief, or setbacks. We take time tending the seeds in your heart with grace, trust, insight, and safety.

Oftentimes, we are expected to “get over things” too soon, when deep healing work is more about integrating the pieces of our hearts we have had to splinter off, then feeling and releasing pain in a safe space, at a safe pace, with a caring, connected therapist. Therapy can be a place for you to hold both the beauty and pain of life side-by-side to experience a more whole, overarching view of our realities.

It is ok to not be ok.

Regardless of the title you hold, you get to be human. No perfect people exist. We need each other, in full authenticity.

I’ve struggled along the way with my own anxiety and at times, depression. I’ve needed to surrender in the arms of a therapist, and a loving community.

If your heart is heavy, please reach out. Don’t go at it alone.

It’s ok to not be ok.

If you’re hurting, or lonely, take the risk to put your voice to your heart, to your feelings.
You matter more than you know.

As a therapist, there is nothing more rewarding than sitting with someone who, with immense courage, is unraveling their life story and simultaneously piecing it back together into a unified and healed whole. I don’t take my role lightly. I’m mindful of the vulnerability involved in therapy—opening up and trusting someone with the broken or unhealed parts of yourself requires a bravery I deeply respect.

Life can be challenging, and one of my favorite quotes is, “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting some great battle.” Unfortunately, there aren’t many spaces where people can fully reveal what’s happening inside. I consider it an honor to hear and hold matters of the heart that are often kept in isolation.

Our suffering needs to be expressed, felt, and understood in order to heal.

Annie 🤍
