What is the recovery from a deep plane facelift looks like?

Kathy, 18 hours after "the whole enchilada"

Can Ozempic make you look older?

Often, “Ozempic face” isn’t so much a result of Ozempic itself, but the very rapid weight loss may caused by it.
Rapid fat loss in the face can leave hollows in the cheeks, temples and under the eyes.

Losing this soft padding under the skin can leave someone’s face looking prematurely old or tired. And often this is more of a concern in older patients, who tend to lose volume and collagen in their faces.
Depending on what has disappeared and at what age, different treatments might be appropriate for the face.
A younger patient might benefit from dermal fillers or fat grafting to restore volume to their face.

But in someone whose tissues and skin are very loose, a Deep Plane Facelift might be more appropriate. In some patients, a Deep Plane Face and Neck Lift combined with fat grafting could address facial sagging as well as volume loss. This could produce more natural facial rejuvenation.

More important than weight loss, then, is the anatomy of each person’s face in determining the right treatment for them.

What Makes a Facelift Journey Feel Personal, Not Transactional?

To me, a facial rejuvenation is as much about the relationship between patient and the surgeon as it is about the surgery itself. It starts with an honest consultation, progresses through the post-op period and beyond.

Dawn came to me looking for a plan suited to her needs, not some off-the-shelf approach.
