One of the most common reactions I see after a deep plane facelift is concern about the swelling. It’s completely understandable, but it’s also completely normal.✨

Facial rejuvenation is a process. Whether it includes a deep plane face and neck lift, eyelid surgery, a brow lift, fat grafting, laser resurfacing, or a lip lift, your face needs time to heal. During the first week, swelling and redness are expected.

The most important part of recovery is patience. Give your body the time it needs, and you’ll begin to see the transformation unfold week by week. Just as important is maintaining a positive mindset.

Healing is a journey, and understanding what to expect can make the experience much less stressful.
