My friend couldn’t find her hormone patch, so I immediately sent her these 3 simple recipes.

A few days later she told me, “I feel so much better!”

No, food doesn’t replace HRT.

But perimenopause support is about more than hormones. What you eat matters too.

Want the 3 recipes?

Comment “RECIPE” and I’ll send them to you.

HRT can be incredibly helpful but it’s not the whole perimenopause plan.

Still tired? Brain fog? Hair changes? Poor sleep? Not feeling like yourself?

Sometimes we need to think bigger picture. .

Hormones matter, but so do your thyroid, iron, blood sugar, sleep, stress, nutrition, and overall health.

This is why I love combining modern medicine with Chinese medicine, herbs, acupuncture, and lifestyle support.

Your hormones matter. But they’re not the whole story. Treat the whole woman.

Follow for a whole-body approach to perimenopause.

RUNNING TO THE BATHROOM ALL THE TIME?

There’s a reason the inside of your ankle is interesting.

PTNS (posterior tibial nerve stimulation) is a treatment used for overactive bladder and urinary urgency.

Try stimulating this area at home with acupressure:

SP6: About 4 finger-widths above your inner ankle bone, just behind the shin bone.

Modified KD2 area: About 2 fingers below and 2 fingers forward from the inner ankle bone.

Massage each area firmly but comfortably for about 1 minute.

Fatty liver is tricky because most people are waiting for a big, obvious warning sign.

But often, there isn’t one.

You might feel more tired than usual, notice some discomfort under your right ribs, or experience changes that are easy to blame on stress, age, or a busy week. And sometimes? You feel completely normal.

That’s why paying attention to your metabolic health, routine labs, and risk factors matters more than waiting until your body starts shouting.

Your liver can handle a lot but that doesn’t mean we should wait for symptoms to take care of it.

FEELING DIZZY OR OFF BALANCE?

Your balance involves your inner ear, nervous system, vision, circulation, and sometimes hormonal changes can play a role.

Try these 3 acupressure points:

DU20: top of the head
GB20: base of the skull
SJ17: behind the earlobe

Firm, comfortable pressure. Breathe slowly and relax.

These points may help you feel calmer and more grounded, but new, severe, or persistent dizziness should always be evaluated.

Your thyroid may be small, but it plays a big role in how your body functions every day.

When thyroid hormone levels are too low, you may start noticing changes that are easy to brush off at first, feeling unusually tired, always being cold, struggling with constipation, noticing more hair shedding, or waking up with a puffier face.

Some people also experience dry skin, brittle nails, changes in weight, or a lower mood.

The tricky part is that these symptoms aren’t exclusive to an underactive thyroid. They can overlap with stress, nutrient deficiencies, hormonal changes, and other health concerns. That’s why symptoms alone can’t tell you what’s going on.

If several of these signs have become your “normal,” it may be worth talking with your healthcare provider and asking whether thyroid testing makes sense for you.

Cold season is coming. Is your kitchen ready?

This is one of my favorite traditional fall remedies:
Quince + pear + radish + honey

Pear for dryness.
Quince for traditional Lung and phlegm support.
Radish for its natural glucosinolates.
Honey to soothe an irritated throat and cough.

Simple ingredients. One jar. Keep it ready for those dry, scratchy-throat days.

Comment “COUGH” and I’ll send you my recipe + Fall Cough & Throat Relief Guide.
