Many people search for closure after loss, believing healing should eventually bring a clear sense of resolution or finality.
But grief does not always work that way.
Some losses leave unanswered questions, unfinished feelings, or spaces that cannot be fully closed. This does not mean healing has failed. It means some experiences continue to exist as part of us.
Healing is not always about reaching a perfect ending. Often, it is about gradually learning how to live alongside what has changed, without needing to erase its impact.
Over time, the relationship to the loss may soften. The pain may become less consuming. But the absence itself may still remain meaningful.
Healing can coexist with open space 🤍
