I’m super grateful for the fun times I had in Charleston, SC! Eating, walking, going to the beach on Sullivan Island- we did it all! So glad I do this regularly with my med school friends especially since we live all over the country. Life is short- we all need to make an effort to see people we care about!

It’s always a treat for me to catch up with my friends and colleagues throughout the US at the annual AAFPRS meeting. I had an amazing time learning, speaking and making new friends. Also loved the puppy interaction area to just relax. See you all next year~

I’m so excited our panel discussion on challenging reconstructions of the face at this year’s AAFPRS meeting was successful. It was great to discuss what we do, how we do it and the different options. But the most interesting part when discussing difficult cases is that we can use them to be educational; we get a chance to compare different thoughts because we can always learn from each other and strive to be better.

A refined rhinoplasty transformation! This patient had a very uneven and twisted nasal tip, with noticeable asymmetry from side to side. The tip was carefully re-shaped and supported to create a more balanced, straight, and symmetrical appearance. It’s still early on in the recovery period but you can already see the changes and improvement in balance.

A subtle change with a big difference in overall facial harmony.

One week post–op after keloid, excision and sutures are out!
This patient came in with a stubborn keloid that had been growing for sometime. A keloid is an overgrowth of scar tissue that extends beyond the original injury. The patient is healing well so far and on track. We will continue to follow this patient, they are very happy with the results and so are we!😊
