Trust the process, don’t rush the process ‼️

Your ESTIMATED due date is NOT an eviction date for your baby.

I know (literally) those last weeks are HARD—the pressure, the pain, no sleep, and being completely over it.

BUT before requesting an induction just because you’re uncomfortable or ready to meet baby, remember: birth timing matters.

Baby’s lungs are the last to develop and release a chemical to signal your body that birth should begin.

Because you’re 39 weeks or past your ESTIMATED due date and “because there’s a medical reason” are NOT the same conversation.

Ask WHY.
Ask what happens if you wait.
Ask about the risks AND benefits.
Ask what your alternatives are.

And then make YOUR informed decision with your provider. 👏🏾

A scheduled induction is a recommendation—not a replacement for informed consent.

Whew can’t believe it’s been 8 months already!
Baby girl’s heartbeat was SO fast at my appointment that we had to make sure it came back down🤣my baby excited to meet us😊.

Did you know that breastfeeding babies should feed between 8-12 times in 24 hours? Remember, the more you feed the more milk you tell your body to make. 😊

There’s no feeding schedule when it comes to feeding an exclusively breasted baby.
