Who says you shouldn't play with our food? 😁⛱🏖👣😎

Our residents put that old saying to the test during a creative and laughter-filled activity where we built our very own beach scenes using pineapple rings as floats, Teddy Grahams, Umbrellas, and other fun things to make our beach scenes. From sandy shores to sunny beach days, everyone's imagination was on full display. One even went swimming.

Not only was it a fun way to get creative, but it brought plenty of smiles and a few tasty bites along the way. When asked if it was more fun creating them or eating them, they replied both!

We love finding unique ways to bring joy, creativity, and connection to our days at Mennowood.

Yesterday's visit with Boomer brought so many smiles and joyful moments to our community! 🐾🐾🐾🐾

Therapy dogs have a special way of brightening the days of our residents and staff, bringing comfort, companionship, and plenty of unconditional love. We are incredibly grateful to Boomer and Susan for making the time to visit us each month. These visits have become something we all look forward to, and the happiness Boomer brings is simply priceless.

Thank you for sharing your hearts with us and reminding us of the healing power of a furry friend. Until next month, Boomer! 🥰🥰🥰

Our residents had the pleasure of learning a new jewelry-making technique thanks to Suzanne's creativity and patience.

With Suzanne's guidance, everyone created their own beautiful necklaces while enjoying each other's company and learning something new. Activities like these not only spark creativity but also create meaningful moments and lasting memories.

A heartfelt thank you to Suzanne for sharing her talents and inspiring us all. We can't wait to see what she teaches us next!

One of our talented residents recently captured these incredible nature photos right here in our community, their patience and keen eye for nature allowed them to preserve these special moments and remind us to slow down and appreciate the wildlife that surrounds us every day.

The music was playing, and our residents were on their feet!

A big thank you to Billy Mitchell for spending time with us today and sharing his wonderful talent. It was such a joy to see our residents singing along, tapping their toes, and getting up to dance. Moments like these bring so much energy, laughter, and happiness to our community.

Who says you can't mix a little brainpower with a sweet treat? 🍨🍨

Our residents had a wonderful time putting their thinking caps on during a fun riddles activity, followed by a delicious serving of Rocky Road Ice Cream! There were plenty of laughs, creative answers, puzzled faces, and friendly competition as everyone worked together to solve the riddles.

The perfect combination of mental exercise and a tasty reward made for a fantastic afternoon. Life is always a little sweeter shared with friends.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our Resident of the Month along with all our residents who celebrated brithdays this month! 🎉🎂🎉

There's nothing better than coming together as a community to recognize the amazing individuals who make our home so special. From smiles and laughter to sweet treats and great company, it was a celebration filled with joy and appreciation.
