Nestled in the heart of historic Newport, The Four Cedars Lodging House invites guests to relax, recharge, and reconnect in a setting rich with history and warmth. Located inside the beautifully restored Gring Mansion, built in 1844, the home blends classic architecture with

modern comfort. Guests can enjoy one of two spacious rooms (with more rooms coming soon), each thoughtfully designed for rest and relaxation:

The Heritage Suite
Features a private full bath, peaceful atmosphere, and sleeps up to three guests (including a twin bed in a side room). The Cedar Room
Includes charming period details, a shared bath, and sleeps up to three guests. Each room is intentionally prepared with locally made organic mattresses, chemical-free linens or organic cotton sheets and bedding, organic cotton towels, complimentary Wi-Fi, and décor that reflects the home’s historic character. The Four Cedars also offers meal options and in-house catering for overnight guests and retreat groups. Whether you’re staying for a quiet weekend or hosting a small workshop, meals are thoughtfully prepared using local and organic ingredients whenever possible.
