💔 VEGAS 💔

Vegas is only 2 years old and through absolutely no fault of his own, he has lost the only home he ever knew.

Adopted from a rescue as a puppy, Vegas should have been set for life. Unfortunately, after his adopter moved, Vegas was not welcome in the new home. 😢

When she reached back out to the rescue to return him, they did not have an available foster opening. Vegas then showed up unexpectedly at our door—his owner was in a hurry. 🥺

And now…Vegas is struggling.

He is VERY upset here. The shelter environment is overwhelming for him. The constant barking, noise, and kennel stress have him screaming in his kennel, desperate for comfort and calm. He is unsettled, confused and heartbroken. Imagine losing your home overnight and suddenly being surrounded by chaos and unfamiliar faces.

We know rescues everywhere are overwhelmed right now, and we deeply appreciate the hard work, sacrifices and dedication rescue groups and fosters make every single day. 👏🏼

But situations like this are also an important reminder:

Our pets are a lifetime commitment. Dogs are not disposable when life gets complicated, moves happen or challenges arise. Pet ownership means working through the hard parts and ensuring your animal is safe and secure until a responsible, loving alternative can be found.

Vegas deserved stability. He still does.

Despite everything, we are committed to helping this boy find the loving, patient forever home he deserves. A home where he can finally exhale. 🐾

Please share Vegas so we can help give him the happy ending he deserves. Vegas didn’t have a single visitor after being featured here already. 😢
