Just Cruisinβ on two wheels π²
βItβs like riding a bikeβ we say this as if riding a bike is simple π€―
Riding a bike requires so much more than just core strength and coordination.
Successful bike riding depends on an intact and well-integrated central nervous system, primitive reflex integration, postural control, balance, motor planning, visual skills, and timing.
If riding a bike is hard for your child, it doesnβt automatically mean they just need more practice. Sometimes the foundation skills are still developing and thatβs where therapy can help. π
Every child develops at their own pace. Building the foundation makes the ride much smoother π΄πΌπ΄π»ββοΈπ΄π½ββοΈ
