Marsha laid to rest
Today our longest-term employee, Marsha Large was laid to rest in a graveside service at Union Cemetery.
At this time, when I hear many employers report, they can’t find employees to show up to work, Marsha was one that came to work every day for years and years until her husband became ill. In a time when marriage often ends in divorce, Marsha was married for over 50 years. She was a dedicated wife and most devoted, caring for her husband in his later years, allowing him to stay at home. In a time when many don’t attend church she was a dedicated Lutheran church member, worshiping the Lord and caring about the church year and season. When it was advent, the time before Christmas, she was preparing herself through her advent calendar scripture readings. When it was lent, the time before Easter, She spent her time in meditation thinking of Jesus‘s time in the wilderness. Marsha was a part of our work family and we will miss her, her dedication to her work, her family and her Lord. These are examples that we all could learn from and be inspired by. We say goodbye for now and carry many memories and inspirations with us.

Marsha Large Passes Away
We are sadden to report the loss of Marsha Large our longest employee. On Thursday July 16* Marsha left this earth to be with her Lord and Savior. She began working with the Primary Care Center on day one - July 1, 1992. Marsha was the office coder and biller until early 2025 when she sustained a stroke from a head injury due to a fall. She was known for her faith and love of her church. She was known for her love of her husband Tony who died just a few weeks prior to her fall. She was also known for her love of her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved her cats and the color purple. Her visitation is today Sunday the 19th at 5 to 7 at Manes funeral home with funeral service to follow. She will be greatly missed.

We would like to wish all the dad’s a Happy Father’s Day especially our own Dr. Conway and Dr. Williams.

7 roles of a Father

1. Spiritual Leader- Fathers are primarily responsible for the spiritual well-being of their household. They are called to point their children toward God, teaching His Word during everyday moments of life (Deuteronomy 6:6–7).
2. Provider- Scripture expects fathers to provide for the physical and practical needs of their family. The apostle Paul emphasizes that failing to provide for one's household is a serious departure from the faith (1 Timothy 5:8).
3. Disciplinarian- discipline is never for punishment alone, but for instruction, character building, and correction. Fathers are instructed to discipline their children in love so they can grow in wisdom and self-control (Proverbs 13:24, Hebrews 12:6).
4. Encourager and Nurturer-While providing instruction, fathers are warned against being overly harsh or provocative, which can cause resentment. Instead, they are to bring their children up with uplifting words and patient guidance (Ephesians 6:4, Colossians 3:21).
5. Role Model-A father's life should be an example of integrity, faith, and love. Fathers are called to live righteously so that their children can observe and imitate their walk with God (1 Corinthians 11:1).
6. Loving Husband-A fundamental aspect of biblical fatherhood is loving one's wife. By honoring their spouse and modeling sacrificial love, fathers establish a secure and healthy emotional environment for their children (Ephesians 5:25).
7. Mentor and Teacher- Fathers are expected to pass down life skills, wisdom, and core values to the next generation. This mentorship ensures that children are properly equipped to navigate life and make wise, God-honoring decisions (Proverbs 22:6).
